Well I’ll let you in on a little secret – if your looking to make your computer faster then using a registry cleaner will give you very little, if any, noticeable results. If you not exactly sure what a registry cleaner is, it’s a database that is used to store all of your computers configurations for the operating system and the programs that you use. When you make a change to a program, the registry that corresponds with that program/application will either change or add a new registry. Making your computer faster requires that you spend some working on different parts of your computer to make it more efficient like tweaking the operating system and cleaning out parts of the computer. Using a registry cleaner is like having a messy desk to clean and you are focusing on cleaning out one drawer. Sure that one drawer will be really neat and organized but the overall picture (the desk in this case) will still be messy and inefficient to use.

So the big question is that should you stop using registry cleaners? The answer is no. The reason for this is because the registry is one of the main areas of your computer that still needs to be cleaned. I just don’t suggest that you pay for a registry cleaner since there are some that are free that work just fine. The main one that I highly recommend is Ccleaner. Just run a Google search for it. All you have to do is to just download and install the program. Once the program is installed click on Registry on the left hand side of the window and then click on Scan for issues. The program will now look for errors in your registry and it will remove those errors. The beauty about Ccleaner is that it also doubles as a all purpose cleaner for your computer – when you are at the home screen you can clean your computer out of temporary internet files, cookies and even your history.
