A word password remover is something that you can do on your own, or something people choose to buy. In some cases however, you may not be able to remove the password, especially when you are trying to get into an open type file. With a read only file, you can usually remove the password on your own.

On the other hand, when you want to remove another type of password, for things such as open files, then that is another matter completely. As for read only documents, there is a bit of a difference in the procedure than when you want to remove the password for opening the file.

On the other hand, if you are doing it for reasons such as snooping, then you are getting into a gray area of the law. This potentially could get you in trouble. In any case, since you are finding this information on the internet then it also means all of the information that you put within a word document, has the potential to be seen.

Usually, this should not take you more than a few minutes and should not be illegal, unless you get into stealing or using others work. You don’t need any tools when you want to remove the password from a read only word file. All you have to do is open the word file that you are looking to remove the read only password from, then save it as a Rich Text Format file.

Likely, you are going to see a file that says.rtf and that is the one that you are going to want to open. After opening the document, you should notice that it looks the same as the word document. This time however, you are going to take the file and save it under the same format, except under a different name.

This is in a good way, since all you are doing is altering your ability to make personal notes on the document or get into your own document. This is something that you can do by simply saving the document as.rtf and then opening it and saving it in a different name.
