It’s totally possible now to get high quality TV right on your PC via the magic of the Internew. Provided you have high speed Internet – via WiFi or network cable, and the software I’d like to discuss, you can get great reception from over 4,000 channels from hundreds of countries. That’s an incredible amount of video information. And yet, it’s totally free!

This unique and very sophisticated software is designed to aggregate the channels into one sleek place where you can simply dial up what you want to watch, and watch it right on your PC screen. Many of these broadcasts are commercial free, and there are literally thousands from hundreds of countries all over the globe. This aggregator makes connections with the channels in a way where you do not have a monthly fee. But is it legal?

Cable TV on your computer is very legal because these channels have already been cleared for broadcast via the Internet. There is no hacking or illegal use of signals. The software is perfectly legal and free of any spyware or viruses. And by further investigation I found that the software comes in a few different options. Essentially, the higher priced option gives you the most channels. You can still get many, about 2,000 with the lower end unit. And I do know what I’m talking about.

My background is 15 years in radio and TV right in the big Dallas/Fort Worth market. With my own talk show I was sent so many gizmos in those years but none compare to this piece that I’ve used so many times for sports – soccer games from Brazil to matches of UK teams I would have missed locally. It’s a great value, really.

This probably is going to end up sounding like an 30 minute commercial for the crazy software, and I don’t want it to be that. All I want is for you to know that you’re going to be pleased with this software to watch TV on your PC. And it’s so cheap I thought there was some problem. Turns out, they have sold thousands of these now and the price is right. It finds channels so quickly, I know it’s saved me hours channel surfing – literally. And if you think it’s too complicated for you, it’s not.

Well, you know, I am no expert when it comes to the computer. In fact, I always call my buddy, Dennis, to install things and to make sure my PC is running at its best. But when I looked at the point and click instructions for this software, I was pretty confident I could do this one myself. And guess what? The cable TV on computer software was so easy – I am sure anyone could install this. And another thing.

This software simply sits on your computer ready for you to use. Provided you have a high speed connection, whether that be wireless, or on your network cable, you can get the cable TV channels. There is no hardware to install at all. I was really amazed and pleased. It is so convenient. But I fear these things aren’t going to last forever.

And finally, because of the low cost of this software – I mean, think about it, I just spent nearly $200 for a low end DVD player – this is much less and am certain I got a bargain because you know how they raise the price on these things. But when they do, it will still be a good bargain and I’ll be streaming TV right on my screen. And that’s pretty good in my book.
